If you want to study an academic pathway program, or an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, there’s an English course for you. UNSW Global’s English pathway courses are designed to help you improve your skills so you can meet the UNSW English language entry requirements. They also prepare you for success at university and in your global career.

University English Entry Course (UEEC)

UNSW Global’s University English Entry Course (UEEC) will help you meet the UNSW English language entry requirements to undertake a diploma or degree program at UNSW. Depending on your current level of English, you may need to complete a 10, 15 or 20-week course

Why UEEC?

  • Improve your academic English language, literacy and digital skills, giving you a strong head start for UNSW
  • Progress to UNSW once you successfully complete the program. On average, 90% of students progress to UNSW
  • Learn a range of useful skills, from research and writing processes, to accessing academic information via the UNSW online learning portal to prepare you for university assignments
  • Get an authentic university experience through lessons and tasks based on actual UNSW lectures and readings on a range of topics and issues of global importance, relevant to any discipline
  • Develop collaborative and independent learning skills during supportive and hands-on lessons
  • Receive individual feedback in weekly consultations so that you know exactly what to practise and how to improve
  • Build your confidence for university by practising communication for real situations and getting to know UNSW faculties

Foundation English Entry Course (FEEC)

UNSW Global’s Foundation English Entry Course (FEEC) has been developed to support students with their English language skills prior to beginning their Foundation Studies Program. Depending on your current level of English, you may need to complete a 10 week course.

  • Learn from highly qualified and experienced teachers who understand your needs.
  • Build a network of friends and peers before starting your Foundation Studies Program.
  • Access independent learning support guided by one-to-one consultations with teachers, helping you navigate the online learning portal, and develop reading and academic skills.
  • Access additional skills workshops that support success throughout the course.
  • Develop a broad vocabulary and navigate studying in Australia through weekly reading and listening themes.
  • Prepare for key assessments and advance to Foundation Studies through a strong skills-focus.
