Pathway programs are tailored for international students and prepare you for success at University.† UNSW Global pathways^ include Foundation Studies Programs, Diploma Programs and English Language Courses. These programs and courses are designed to give you the academic knowledge and English language skills needed to meet the entry requirements to a university degree, while making your transition into UNSW Sydney as smooth as possible.
Students who want to study a bachelors degree but have missed out on direct entry because they haven’t finished high school, their qualifications are not recognised, they have not met the entry criteria, or they need some additional English tuition.
When you successfully complete your pathway program, and meet the grade point average (GPA) and English language requirements, you will gain entry to your chosen UNSW bachelors degree. If you are studying Foundation Studies and do not meet the GPA required to enter first year, you may have the option to complete a Diploma Program before progressing to second year at UNSW.
