Welcome to Online Orientation!

We have moved English Language Courses Program classes online. You will continue your studies at home with guidance from your teachers through our online learning system.

Please make sure you have reviewed all the relevant material below to make the most out of your online learning experience.

Orientation

Let’s get you started!

Get set up and familiarise yourself with your new learning environment before your classes commence.

You must have an appropriate device for online learning, please note that you cannot do exams using a mobile or tablet device you must use a laptop or computer. Refer to our PED guidelines for more information.

If you're having internet performance issues take a look at our IT cheat sheet to see what steps you can take to make your online learning experience easier.

If you are from mainland China you can use our China Student Access Network (CSAN). This is a virtual highway that offers a more reliable, secure and consistent internet connection. Take a look at our CSAN cheat sheet to learn how to use this.

Step 1 Access

You must have a student ID (G-ID) to access the platforms. This is located on your Confirmation of Enrolment (COE), Offer Letter and IT starter email. Watch the video below to activate your account.

Step 2 IT Starter

It Starter is compulsory before students can attend Orientation. Have a read of the IT starter below.

Step 3 Orientation Day

On the morning of your Orientation you will receive an email that explains how to access Moodle for your self-guided Orientation. This content will not be available before Orientation Day.

You will also be invited to attend a live webinar where you will meet your academic team and peers, as well as have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have.

Program start dates

You will have 7 days to decide if online learning is your preferred study mode, you can defer your start date without any financial penalty within the 7 day period. Program withdrawals after the 7 day period will attract financial penalties.
