Welcome to UNSW Global

We’re excited to welcome you online!

We have moved all UNSW Diploma, Foundation Studies and Academic English Programs online. You will start your studies at home with guidance from your teachers through our online platform.

Online Orientation is available and compulsory for all our pathway programs. Orientation must be completed prior to you commencing your course. You will receive information about your Orientation, including your IT starter prior to your Orientation Day via email.

Select the program that you’re enrolled in to view the relevant material that you need to complete prior to starting your program.

Student Support

We’re here to support you

If you need help or advice one of our friendly Student Advisers can assist you. We can assist you with things like education adjustments due to illness or injury, information about complaints and procedures, adjustments to life and study, provision of safe spaces to talk about issues that may be of concern to you and other welfare issues.

Meet our team

Our Student Support team is passionate about supporting students through their studying and living in Australia journey. We understand that being a student, especially in a new country, while very exciting, can also be challenging and stressful at times. We also understand the importance of seeking and receiving support.

We are here for you whether you need to ask questions, require support or simply need someone to talk to.

Need to get in touch with Student Support?

Contacting Student Support is easy! Contact us by either filing our contact form out or give us a call. We will be answering calls and monitoring and responding to emails between 9am and 5pm daily.

Requesting a virtual meeting with a Student Adviser? Phone or email Student Support

You can also access UNSW’s health and wellbeing resources here.

For students who are affected by financial hardship due to COVID-19, financial support is available. Please note this is only available to students who are currently studying in Australia.

Be aware

Several students have reported that they have received an email, social media post, text message or letter that is pretending to be from UNSW and asking for large sums of money.

Be especially careful of any communication in relation to COVID-19 and in particular COVID-19-related Government funding that you may be entitled to. Be on high alert for these and other scams designed to steal your money or your personal data (used to then steal money).

Never give money or your personal details to anyone unless you know it is legitimate.
If you have any questions, please contact Student Services or visit Scams and cybercrime.

Student Services

Our Student Services team are here to help you! Not sure where to go for orientation? Have a question about your fees? Missed a class? Or need to request a copy of your results? The friendly Student Services team can help you with all these questions and more. You can contact the Student Services team via phone or email.

Student Engagement

Our Student Engagement team has developed a range of fun online activities to keep you engaged while studying from home. Keep an eye out for the weekly Global G’day newsletter with all weekly offerings. You can join different activities, such as cooking challenges, fitness classes, conversation clubs, trivia games or our weekly Tea Tuesday session. Although we are separated by distance, we can still connect, make new friends and share our experiences. It is important to maintain balance when studying online so be sure to join our fun social sessions and take a break from the books.
