Our Diploma programs are designed for international students who miss out on direct entry to a UNSW degree and who want to fast track to the second year* of an undergraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or Science at UNSW Sydney.

Diploma in Business

A Diploma in Business is your first step towards a career in business and finance. The Diploma in Business is a pathway into the Bachelor of Commerce. On successful completion of the Diploma you will progress straight into second year of a undergraduate degree at UNSW Business School, the #1 ranked Business school in Australia.

Diploma in Computer Science

Fast track your studies and get the support and guidance you need with a UNSW Diploma in Computer Science focusing on the design and construction of computer systems. When you successfully complete the program, you will progress straight into the second year of a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) degree, accredited by the Australian Computer Society.

Diploma in Engineering

Diploma in Science

A Diploma in Science is a powerful transition to further your study and develop a career in the sciences. We provide the practical and theoretical skills and experience to fast track your career. The UNSW Science Faculty has more than 400 staff and 700 researchers.

* To be issued a Diploma, students need to pass all Diploma courses for the given specialisation. After being issued the Diploma, students can progress directly to second year of the degree, except for Business, where students need to score an average of 60% across all Diploma academic courses and based on their best attempt.

Students who become Australian permanent residents or Australian Citizens during a Diploma Program will be subject to additional competitive processes for entry to a UNSW Sydney degree program. Students must complete the pre-requisite courses in a Diploma within 24 months to progress to second year. To enter first year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at UNSW Sydney, students must complete 9 subjects and receive advanced standing credit.
