Professional Development program for International Students

As an international student, you can take advantage of a Professional Development Program tailored to give you hands-on experience in a professional workplace. The program includes a three-day seminar covering topics such as business communication, employer expectations and recruitment processes. You also have the opportunity to complete a 50-hour workplace experience in offices located throughout UNSW.


UNSW offers internships through Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunities as part of many of our degrees. These opportunities can be credited towards your degree, giving you valuable insights into your industry’s workplace culture. WIL provides you with specific work experience as part of your degree. Check with your Faculty Student Centre for full details of what is available.

Careers expo
