How to accept an offer

Foundation Studies, Academic English Programs and Pre-Masters

  • Receive your letter of offer
    When you receive your letter of offer, check the details carefully and make sure you read and understand the conditions of enrolment we’ve sent you.

    If there is anything you do not understand, please contact us immediately. 
  • Accept your letter of offer
  • Receive confirmation of enrolment
    After receiving your acceptance agreement and payment, we will send you a welcome letter and an electronic confirmation of enrolment (eCOE) to allow you to apply for your student visa.
  • Apply for your student visa
    You can apply for student visa as soon as you receive your electronic confirmation of enrolment (eCoE). 
    If you are applying through an agent, your agent can assist you with your visa application. If you want to apply for your visa directly, you can find out about the process at Department of Home Affairs

Diploma Programs

Note: For Diploma programs commencing from August 2024 onwards, please accept offers via UNSW College Application system

For programs commencing prior to August 2024, please follow the steps below:

  •  Receive your letter of offer
  • When you receive your letter of offer, check the details carefully and make sure you read and understand the conditions of enrolment we’ve sent you. 
  • Accept your letter of offer (Part I for unconditional and above 18 students)
    • Go to UNSW Accept Online. Log in with your zID, which can be found on your letter of offer. You may need to generate a password. You should see your offer displayed. Click the yellow arrow, then Accept.  
    • Confirm your Citizenship/Visa Details, then click Continue. If you have any questions regarding your visa details either contact your agent or UNSW College Admissions
    • Please read the summary page in detail to make sure the information is correct. Tick ‘I accept all the above terms and conditions’ and click Proceed with offer. 
    • A deposit is required to secure your place. UNSW Sydney accepts Credit Card, International Money Transfer or BPay. Please follow the instructions for each payment option. You should see ‘Payment Received’ if your transaction was successful. Click on Accept my offer. 
  • Complete Accept Part II to enrol
    Once again, there are a few steps for you to follow. Click Continue, then: 
    • Review your personal details to ensure they are correct. Add an emergency contact you would like us to contact in the unlikely event of an emergency. Complete the personal statistics questions.
    • Once you have completed these sections, the tuition fees for the duration of your program of study will be shown. Note: these fees are indicative only and are subject to change without notice.
    • Please read through the terms and conditions. If you accept them, tick ‘I accept all the above terms and conditions’, and Proceed. 
    • The summary page will show the details you have entered in Accept Part I and Part II. To keep a PDF copy of the summary page, click on Generate PDF and Continue. 
    • You have now completed Accepting your offer. To continue to enrol in your course/s, click on Proceed to Enrol. 

If you are under 18 years of age, please follow our under 18 guidelines and procedures and return the completed Care and Appropriate Welfare form to us via email with the copy of reply form and deposit payment evidence. 

Transition Program Online 

  • Receive your letter of offer
    When you receive your letter of offer, check the details carefully and make sure you read and understand the conditions of enrolment we’ve sent you. 
  • Accept your letter of offer
    • Sign the Acceptance Agreement before or at the same time as you make payment to OpenLearning (see below). If you have applied via an agent, please sign and provide this letter to your agent to upload for your acceptance. 
    • Make payment of the Program Fees via the StudyLink portal using Flywire, which includes a range of payment options. If you are making a payment from within Australia we can issue you an invoice for payment. Please email us if you require an invoice.
    • If you are a sponsored student, your sponsor needs to send the Financial Guarantee to UNSW prior to the commencement of your program. 
  • Await confirmation of enrolment
    After receiving your acceptance agreement and payment, we will send you a welcome letter.
  • Ensure you meet technical standards
    All students are expected to participate online with a device that has a stable internet connection, with video and audio capability. For guidelines on selecting a device and minimum device requirements, please refer to the OpenLearning Personal Electronic Device Guidelines for Students
