Vietnam Scholarship Presentation Ceremony
On Wednesday 26 October UNSW Foundation Studies (UFS) conducted a ceremony to recognise the award of UNSW Foundation Studies scholarships to six students from Vietnam. Two students were awarded a scholarship to the Standard Plus Program which started last July, two students were awarded a scholarship to the Transition Program which started last August and a further two students were awarded a scholarship to the Standard Program which started in October.
The students are adjusting well to their new study environment and are enjoying the international flavour of their classes. When the students are successful with their UFS studies, they will start their degree programs at UNSW in February or July 2012. Expectations at UNSW are high as Foundation Studies students generally do as well or better than any other cohort in their undergraduate studies.
